Eligibility & New Zealand Visitor Visa Requirements
All visa types require a valid passport (three months minimum beyond NZ departure), a valid UAE residence visa, and genuine intent consistent with the visa applied for.
For the Visitor Visa, financial proof is where most Dubai applications fall short. INZ expects approximately NZD 1,000 per month of stay — demonstrated through three to six months of consistent bank statements. A large deposit made just before applying raises flags, not confidence. Salary certificates and NOC letters from UAE employers provide essential supporting context alongside your bank statement.
UAE ties must be clearly documented: active employment, tenancy contract, or family in Dubai. Without evidence that you will return, an otherwise complete application can still be refused.
Health requirements apply to stays over six months — typically a chest X-ray and, for some visa types, a medical examination through an INZ-approved panel physician.
